From Sunday, the Bulker Fatih put in for bunkers on the way to the Dominican republic. Built in 2011 in South Korea, She is flagged in Malta.

Mar II on the Marine Railway
Local tour boat Mar II looks to be having some planks replaced below the waterline. She also appears to have received a fresh coat of paint.
Bluenose
The Crew was working on the Bluenose, Rigging and painting were underway. Hopefully we will see her sail this summer.
Picton Castle Back
The Picton Castle arrived back in Lunenburg this past week after spending the previous 2 years abroad. During that trip, the ship completed her 6th circumnavigation of the world.
Also in Lunenburg, another Moreland Enterprise, the Conversion of a side trawler to the Sailing Vessel Tiare Taporo seems to be progressing. The Vessel will be used to run cargo in the Cook Islands. For more, Visit http://pacificschooners.com/
EX HMCS Cormorant Update
After the owners failed to come up with a reasonable salvage plan, the coast guard turned over responaibility of the salvage to RMI Marine.
The Mini Sub is apparently still aboard, and the source of the flooding is still unknown, though some appears to be tidal. The Coast guard Published the following Pictures:
Marine Atlantic Buys Highlanders and Blue Puttees
Marine Atlantic today announced they were outright buying the Ferries Highlanders and Blue Puttees. Both Ferries were chartered from Stena since 2011. They were lengthend for Canadian service and additional accommodation added.
