The Marine Nationale De France vessel Fulmar arrived on Thursday for her annual visit. Fulmar is the French Governments marine presence in the waters off the Islands of St Pierre and Miqulon, and is used for fisheries patrol, Search and Rescue, and Law enforcement.
She is a converted Fishing trawler.
The VLCC Front Crown currently at anchor today renamed to DS Crown. This probably means a change in her charter. Front list her as a managed vessel, so she may be renamed to her owner or New Manager DS-Rendite-Fonds.
Her AIS Name was updated mid Afternoon, and the Name on the Bow was repainted this morning.
The Corporal Kaeble VC was Rolled Back this morning and tarped. This is a Sure Sign that Hero Class #3 will be rolled out and Painted this weekend.
I Belive Vessel #3 will be the CCGS Corporal Teather C.V.
The VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier)Front Crown at anchorage 1 for bunkers. She is Very Clearly empty. At 311,176dwt, shes big, and more then double the size of Halifax Regular Heather Knutsen which comes in at 148,644dwt.
Front Crown Was Built in 1999, and is owned and operated by Frontline Management AS, the second largest tanker operator after Teekay.
SKOMVAER Made a quick stop for bunkers today. She arived this morning, and will depart later theis afternoon. Algoma Dartmouth can be seen hiding in the back.
HMCS Fredericton was moved this past Saturday Morning to the Machine Shop Wharf. This signals the end of the major structural work being complete, and the fitting out of addtional systems will now take place.
The Graving Dock will Next be Occupied by HMCS Montreal.
The Chinease Naval Vessel PLAN Zhenghe moved from anchor to jetty November Bravo (AKA “Navy B”) this morning. She was Originally scheduled to arrive this morning from Spain, but arrived early due to weather, and sat at anchor over the weekend.
You can see her from the Casino Walkway, No word yet if she will be open to the public.

The tanker Davino D tied up at pier 9 to discharge a cargo of heating oil for the Wilson Fuels Terminal on Barrington Street. There is a spout on the pier to offload tankers at, so Pier 9 sees occasional visits from time to time.
We now know where 260 million of the province’s forgivable loan will be spent. CBC News is reporting the Scotia Dock II will be replaced. Halifax Shipyard was basing the decision on its success at the federal Shipbuilding Program.
Since Halifax Shipyard was selected, The Province is on the Hook for the Loan Money, to replace the Dock. There is no word on where/when the New dock will be constructed, or what will happen with the Scotia Dock II, though it will likely be scrapped.

The Chinease Navy Training Ship Zheng He arrived this morning an anchored in the Harbour. She is currently on a world tour, Much like the Japanese performed last year.
Zheng He was a Chinease explorer who sailed in the Pacific around 1405 to 1433.
