Well, i havent posted much this summer, but I have been around.

Security for your Boat

Several years ago, I worked for a subcontractor to Honeywell. I’m sure you all Remember the Honeywell “This house is protected by a Honeywell alarm” stickers, We had a variation in the office, perfect for boats.

HMS Arc Royal



Named after the flag ship at the Battle of Traflger, HMS Ark Royal is also the Current Royal Navy Flag Ship.
She arrived in Halifax this morning with several other British warships (tied up at the Ocean Terminals) for the International Fleet review.

She (and many others) will be open for tours this coming weekend.

other shipyard news

Atlantic Elm is undergoing work against the Nova Dock. She was in the graving Dock, making space now for a frigate.

Atlantic Condor is progressing nicely – the main superstructure has been rolled outside and has been painted, and the hull can be seen (faintly) under construction in the assembly building.

HMCS Preserver is in the NovaDock, Algonquin is at the Machine Shop Warf, and A frigate in the Graving Dock.
