Lifeflight has been using the Pad at Point Pleasant due to the closure of the Helipad at the Hospital until Aug 20th. A NOTAM from Aug 2 noted the closure, which i assume to be construction related.

Construction crane across the street from the QE where they are building a parking garage would certainly interfere with lading on the QE roof.
I wonder why it isn’t landing at the IWK, either??
The crane would explain it not landing atop QEII. Why hasn’t it been landing at the IWK roof? Construction there too?
